Subject: Notice of Construction on Main Street – Starting Monday, September 15
GM will begin construction on the Main Street section starting Monday, September 15. While we recognize this work will create significant disruptions to commuting, parking, and business access in the area, completing this section in 2025 will help avoid further construction impacts on Main Street in 2026.
Key Impacts:

Main Street access to Sunshine Foods will be closed.
However, Center Avenue access will remain open for customers and deliveries. -
Sidewalk access will remain open to the following businesses (see map below for details):
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve infrastructure in the area.
PARKING:
We kindly ask that individuals without mobility issues park farther from their destination when possible, to help ensure that those with ambulatory or accessibility needs have closer, more convenient access.
SCHOOL COMMUTING:
If your child walks or bikes to school, please discuss alternative routes that avoid Main Street. The safety of our children and community is our top priority.
