The Madelia Golf Course is a challenging 9-hole, par 36 course, nestled along the edges of the Watonwan River and Watona City Park. The course is located just north of the Watonwan County Road 9 exit off of State Highway 60. Enter through the gate to Watona City Park. The golf course’s irrigation system, keeps the course in the lush condition golfers in the region have come to expect. Clubs and pull carts are available for rent and motorized carts for rent or lease.

The Clubhouse also features a full service bar, serving great beer and cocktails.  (Currently, with the status of the old clubhouse having been torn down following the 2024 flood, we are limited to selling premade cocktails.)

The Clubhouse (when rebuilt) along with outside tents are available to rent for special occasions, tournaments and meetings. Please call the Clubhouse at (507) 642-3608 or City Hall (during the off season) to inquire about availability and pricing.

The Madelia Golf Course relies on your patronage. Please do not bring your own food or beverage to the course.
