AN ORDINANCE REGULATING SPECIAL VEHICLES WITHIN THE CITY OF MADELIA, MINNESOTA.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MADELIA:

The following is the official summary of Ordinance No. 70.253 approved by the Madelia City Council on May 12, 2025.  The purpose of the ordinance is to regulate the operations of a motorized golf cart, utility task vehicles, all terrain vehicles, or mini-trucks on streets, alleys, sidewalks or other public property within the City of Madelia, Minnesota.  This ordinance provides direction on permitting process and accessory requirements of special vehicles operated within the City of Madelia, Minnesota.

This ordinance shall take effect and shall be in force 30 days from and after its adoption, approval, and publication.  Effective date is June 13^th, 2025.
