The Madelia Economic Development Authority was established in 1987 to support the economic growth and development of the City of Madelia. The Board consists of the members of the City Council.
The EDA also supports residents of Madelia through providing or connecting them to home rehabilitation or home purchasing financing.
EDA meetings are held monthly prior to the 2nd City Council meeting of the month at the Madelia City Government Center in the City Council Chambers.
Business Assistance
The City of Madelia has had an established business assistance program since the early 1990’s. Businesses operating in the City of Madelia can apply for low interest loans through the Madelia Revolving Loan Fund to meet their financing gaps.
