SCHEDULE I.  ANGLE PARKING.

     (A)     Angle parking shall be required on the following streets.

The west side of North Center Avenue

From Main Street to First Street N. W.

First Street N. W.

From Center Avenue north west 132 feet

     (B)     On any such street every vehicle parked shall be parked with the front of the vehicle facing the curb or the edge of the traveled portion of the street at an angle of approximately 80 degrees and facing between the painted and other markings on the street or streets indicating the parking space. On all streets other than those named parallel parking shall be required.

SCHEDULE II.  PARKING OF CAMPERS AND BOAT TRAILERS.

     (A)     Application. This schedule only applies to the parking of campers and boat trailers in the City of Madelia between May 1 and October 1 each year.

     (B)     Parking on streets between May 1 and October 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of this Code, it shall be lawful to park campers and boat trailers on the street in the City of Madelia as follows:

          (1)     A camper or boat trailer must be parked in front of the owner's residence and not across the street or in front of any other person's residence; and

          (2)     All four wheels of the camper or boat trailer must be located on the paved street.

     (C)     Prohibited parking.

          (1)     No camper or boat trailer may be parked on any city street with a curb to curb width of less than 36 feet.

          (2)     No camper or boat trailer may be parked on any city street designated as a truck route.

          (3)     No camper or boat trailer may be parked on Main Street or Benzel Avenue.

          (4)     No camper or boat trailer may be parked across the street from another camper or boat trailer.

          (5)     No camper or boat trailer may be parked closer than 40 feet from any intersection.

     (D)     Occupancy. Individuals may not live in or occupy a camper while parked on a city street.

     (E)     Off-street parking. A camper or boat trailer must be parked on private property of the owner when that owner has a parking pad available on their property.

     (F)     Safety hazard. A camper or boat trailer parked on the street shall be moved upon the request of a police officer when the officer has deemed the camper or boat trailer as parked to be a traffic or safety hazard.

     (G)     Penalty. Any person violating any of the provisions of this schedule shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction may be fined or sentenced in accordance with the misdemeanor penalty in effect in the State of Minnesota. Each day that the violation is permitted to continue shall constitute a separate and distinct offense. The City of Madelia or any individual adversely affected by the violation of this schedule may proceed by injunction or other appropriate civil action to prevent the continuance of the unlawful act.
