CHAPTER 71:  TRAFFIC SCHEDULES

Schedule

      I.     Certain vehicles restricted on certain streets

      II.     Four-wheel all terrain vehicles

SCHEDULE I.  CERTAIN VEHICLES RESTRICTED ON CERTAIN STREETS.

     (A)     Pursuant to authority of Minn. Stat. § 169.87, as it may be amended from time to time, it shall be unlawful for any truck, semi-trailer or tractor to operate on the following.

Between Benzel Avenue (Minnesota Hwy 15) and Drew Avenue (Minnesota Hwy 60)

     (B)     Exceptions to the above are as follows:

          (1)     Emergency vehicles;

          (2)     Pick-up trucks;

          (3)     Trucks making local deliveries to property abutting the above described portion of Main St. of the City of Madelia; and

          (4)     Trucks used or operated by the city, public utilities or contractors while engaged in the repair and maintenance or construction of streets or utilities.

     (C)     The Street commissioner is authorized and directed to erect and maintain signs clearly marking the above restrictions and prohibition at the ends of the street effected.

SCHEDULE II.  FOUR-WHEEL ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES.

     The dealers and customers of dealers as permittees will be allowed to operate the four-wheel all terrain vehicles for demonstration or testing purposes on the following.
